Gearing Up for IBC Show 2018

Who can believe it’s it’s only four weeks to go until IBC, the biggest media and technology event in Europe with over 57,000 visitors and 1700 exhibitors. The show, which is taking place in Amsterdam from the 13th to the 19th of September, will showcase some of the latest technologies as well as insight from thought leaders and major industry announcements throughout. We’ll be in Hall 14, Stand G27 and the team this year will include our CEO, Bhavesh Vaghela, Andrew Wyse, Chris Lloyd and Richard Jacobs from Sales as well as Helen Elma and Claire Crombie from Marketing.

Bringing AI to Subscriber Management

Paywizard has been exhibiting at IBC for over 10 years, but 2018 is the most exciting of all. We recently announced our partnership with the University of Edinburgh to drive the development of our new AI capabilities within our next-generation subscriber intelligence platform, and this will be showcased for the first time at the show. The partnership is helping Paywizard enhance our machine learning capabilities and develop advanced predictive models, providing TV operators with the most insight-driven view of their subscribers ever and deliver a superior experience throughout the entire customer journey.

See AI in Action

The team will be presenting our new AI capabilities on the booth (14.G27) throughout the weekend. With more announcements coming in the rrun-upto the show, our presentations are not to be missed. These will take place on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of IBC at 11am, 2pm and 3pm, so make sure you come along.

Growing an OTT service – How to engage and retain customers and manage expanding operations

Bhavesh will be taking part in a panel session on Friday 14th September at 3:30pm (CEST) alongside Kathleen Barrett from Vimeo and Alex Pavlychev from Integros. The panelists will discuss how to scale an OTT service, maximise customer lifetime value and increase performance whilst reducing costs.
